Computers
LONG JETTY SENIORS COMPUTER GROUP.
Most courses run on a yearly basis, but participants may come and go at their own leisure. You don’t have to book your lesson, just come along. Seating and computer usage is on a ‘first-come first-serve’ basis.
Class content may be varied according to the availability of tutors.
Special short courses may be introduced to meet student requests.
Course variety ensures that all levels of study are available.
Students work at their own rate in a “hands-on” environment.
Both student and tutor computers carry the same programmes to ensure ease of understanding—we have 23 computers, all linked to broadband internet.
There are classes to suit Beginners, those at Intermediate level—also at Advanced level.
There is no pressure to perform—just a nice friendly atmosphere where it is easy to meet new friends who have a common interest…COMPUTERS.
As you progress, it is simple to move from one class to another and develop additional skills.
NEW MEMBERS ONLY: If you are unsure whether a class would suit you or not, you are invited to attend one of the lessons or discuss your needs with the Convenor (Betty Brown) before joining Long Jetty Seniors Club. The Club has many activities apart from the Computer Group. As a member, you can take advantage of all the Club has to offer. Yearly membership is $5.50, payable in December of each year. Activity fees of $2.50 ($3.50 for computers) per session apply.
